Marshall County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jabrae Howard out in front who scored 19 points. Howard hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. Jamahl Gentry was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with three steals.
Central Magnet has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season. As for Marshall County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-8.
Central Magnet will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Moore County is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Marshall County, they will head out on the road to face off against the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lawrence County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Tigers in Tennessee (the Wildcats are ranked 35th, while the Tigers are ranked 125th).
