Providence Classical scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Carolina Christian 76-47 on the road. Providence Classical has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 28 points or more this season.
Leading Providence Classical to victory were Isaac Martin and Xan Rahalawicz. Martin dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds, while Rahalawicz dropped a triple-double on 27 points, 11 assists, and ten steals. That's the first time this season that Rahalawicz posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Collin Davis, who scored ten points.
Providence Classical's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-5. As for Carolina Christian, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-12.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Fletcher the next time they take the court. Providence Classical will host Fletcher at 7:55 p.m. on Monday, while Carolina Christian will host them at 7:55 p.m. on Tuesday.
