Churchill County has not had much luck with the Buckaroos recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Despite the loss, Churchill County saw an underclassman step up: Jada Anastasio scored 15 points. That was a full 44.1% of Churchill County's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Dayton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 54-21 loss at the hands of Elko.
Churchill County's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-6. As for Dayton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
