Volleyball Recap: Alvord's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Alvord came into Friday's game having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Bellevue Eagles 3-0 on Friday. The Bulldogs not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 3-0).

One reason for the win was Alvord's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17, 25-12.

Alvord's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Bellevue, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alvord will head out to square off against City View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bellevue, they will venture away from home to challenge Archer City at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
