Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Liberty, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Hemet by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The Bison haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Liberty had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-20, 25-17, 25-18.
Liberty's win came from a few key players Citrus Hill will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ashtyn Collier, who had 28 assists and five digs. He is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 15 or more in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jeremy Mallabo, who had 14 digs and one assist.
Citrus Hill's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Liberty, their victory bumped their record up to 23-11.
