Fitch got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jayvon "JJ" Robinson out in front who scored 34 points along with six assists and six steals. The match was Robinson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Malakhi Sabb, who scored 23 points along with four steals.
Newington has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Fitch, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.
