Scott City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 14-13 heartbreaker at the hands of the Risco Tigers. On the bright side, the 13- run performance marked the Rams' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Scott City's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Risco, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
