On Friday Gleason will take on South Fulton at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Gleason have been struggling to pick up a victory, with their game against Dresden last Friday making it seven winless games in a row. Gleason took a serious blow against Dresden, falling 8-61. The state rankings had actually given Gleason a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, after a dominant win in their matchup two weeks ago, South Fulton were humbled. They have to be aching after a bruising 8-42 loss to West Carroll. South Fulton's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the match before.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
