The Pymatuning Valley Lakers's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Windham and snuck past 48-45. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Pymatuning Valley also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Leah DeMoss was her usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with five assists and two steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Taryn Tisch was another key contributor, scoring four points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Pymatuning Valley's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Windham, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pymatuning Valley will square off against the Skippers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Windham, they will head out on the road to face off against the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Cardinal is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
