The Wilsonville Wildcats had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 43.2 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They blew past Parkrose, posting a 84-15 win at home. Given Wilsonville's advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Broncos are ranked 258th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Wilsonville found their leader in underclassman Gabi Moultrie, who went 7 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and 4 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Moultrie has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Counts, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds.
Wilsonville pushed their record up to 12-5 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Parkrose, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
Wilsonville will play host again and welcome the Kingsmen, where tip off is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Parkrose, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on January 31st. Hood River Valley is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
