Westwood is 8-2 against Mountain View since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Westwood Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Mountain View Toros at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Westwood suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They took a serious blow against Red Mountain, falling 64-26. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Westwood has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Mountain View's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 48-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Red Mountain.
This is the second loss in a row for Westwood and nudges their season record down to 6-11. As for Mountain View, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
Westwood came up short against Mountain View in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 60-51. Can Westwood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
