Bishop Moore is 7-2 against Trinity Prep since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hornets will welcome the Saints at 5:00 p.m. Bishop Moore will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
On Wednesday, Bishop Moore was able to grind out a solid victory over Olympia, taking the game 7-3.
Riley Johnson made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. Johnson was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Ariana Lara was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sabrina Griffin, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.
Bishop Moore lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2025.
Meanwhile, Trinity Prep got themselves on the board against Central Florida Christian Academy on Monday, but Central Florida Christian Academy never followed suit. They blew past the Eagles 15-0. With that win, the Saints brought their scoring average up to 7 runs per game.
Mckenna Hawley looked comfortable as she struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2025.
On the hitting side, Trinity Prep got a massive performance out of Quinn Sealy, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave Sealy a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashley Kozma, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Trinity Prep's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Bishop Moore, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.
Trinity Prep's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bishop Moore has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.4 hits per game. It's a different story for Trinity Prep, though, as they've been averaging 10.6 hits. Given Bishop Moore's sizable advantage in that area, the Saints will need to find a way to close that gap.
Bishop Moore got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in February against Trinity Prep by a conclusive 18-8 score. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Saints have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
