Fabian Amalla ran for two touchdowns and
Javier Savedra added two as well as
Anton (Texas) beat Harmony Science Academy (Lubbock, Texas) 54-6 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Savedra in the first quarter, the Bulldogs were up 42-6 at the half.
Anton expanded its lead to 48 points entering the fourth quarter. AHS scored two times in the third, including once on a Amalla touchdown run.
A 29-point first quarter helped the Bulldogs secure the big victory. Anton rushed for four touchdowns on the ground during the quarter, including two by Savedra.
Savedra was the top performer for AHS. He ran for two touchdowns.
Harmony Science Academy's lone touchdown came on a pass in the second quarter.
The Bulldogs went into the matchup giving up only 13.4 points per game.
Anton (8-0) goes up against Ropes in a 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 3 (6 Man) game matchup next week, while Harmony Science Academy (0-7) locks horns with Ropes also in a 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 3 (6 Man) game.
