Scottsburg gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Jennings County Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Warriors not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 9, 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10, 25-21.

This is the second loss in a row for Jennings County and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scottsburg is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Jeffersonville on the 12th. As for Jennings County, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Southwestern at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
