Hesston barely beat Douglass the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Swathers put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 16-1 victory on Friday. The Swathers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by seven runs or more this season.

The win was the sixth in a row for Hesston, bringing their record up to 12-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Douglass, they moved to 8-4-1 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Coming up, Hesston will challenge Pratt at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Douglass, they will host Halstead at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
