The Quincy Blue Devils can now show off 21 landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 56-33 margin over Moline. Given Quincy's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while Moline is ranked 278th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Quincy was led to victory by Taylor Fohey and Myley Longcor. Fohey scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals, while Longcor scored 14 points along with two steals. Leila Dade was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Quincy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season. As for Moline, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-23.
Quincy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Moline, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Moline United at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Moline: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while East Moline United has snatched up 12 consecutive wins on the road.
