The Fort Collins Lambkins won the last time they faced the Heritage Eagles, and things went their way on Friday too. Fort Collins blew past Heritage 66-23 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Fort Collins.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fort Collins to victory, but perhaps none more so than Avery Alcaraz, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jocelyn Kramar, who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lauren Wapelhorst, who scored 8 points. Payton Jumps was another key contributor, scoring 5 points.
Fort Collins' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Heritage, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Fort Collins will head out on the road to face off against George Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Heritage, they will take on Arvada West at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
