The Kalama Chinooks waltzed into Saturday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Pe Ell/Willapa Valley 30-12. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kalama also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2017.
Kalama's victory was their sixth straight at home , which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.2 points per game. As for Pe Ell/Willapa Valley, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
Kalama's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Friday Harbor at 2:00 p.m. on November 10th. Friday Harbor will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 236th, while Kalama is ranked 89th). Pe Ell/Willapa Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
