Gulliver Prep typically has all the answers at home, but  on Tuesday South Dade proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with  a   7-3  win over the Gulliver Prep Raiders.  On Gulliver Prep's side, they got a good showing from  Julian Herrera, who   pitched three innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   one  hit.
 At the plate,  Jason Marcos made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with a  home run and three  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jacob Lombard, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
 South Dade is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record  this season. As for Gulliver Prep, they now  have a losing record at 10-11.
 South Dade is on the road again  on Friday to play Key West at 7:30  p.m. As for Gulliver Prep, they will look to defend their home field  on Wednesday against Archbishop Carroll at 4:00  p.m.
