John Smith turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Monday. He struck out six batters over eight innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He is becoming a predictor of Old Bridge's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 4-1 (and 9-10 when he doesn't).
