Skyview is 8-2 against Bishop Kelly since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Hawks will head out to challenge the Knights at 7:00 p.m. Skyview's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Bishop Kelly's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Skyview blew Vallivue out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Vallivue got their revenge. The Hawks fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 9-7. The Hawks' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Henry Downey and Ledger Downs did some serious damage despite the final result: Downey scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Downs scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of John Tyson, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bishop Kelly, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against Caldwell on Tuesday as they made off with a 13-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Ayden Boyd, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Bishop Kelly: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-9 otherwise. Lucas Blaine was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Bishop Kelly has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Skyview, they suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 11-4-1.

Skyview suffered a grim 10-4 defeat to Bishop Kelly in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can the Hawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
