Lake Lure Classical Academy won the last time they faced Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Lake Lure Classical Academy Raptors took their game with ease, bagging a 57-20 victory over the Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy Eagles. The Raptors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 32 points or more this season.

Leading Lake Lure Classical Academy to victory were Elijah Hill Moore and Ashawn Camp. Hill Moore dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards, while Camp went 8 of 13 on his way to 20 points in addition to five assists and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of D Watkins, who posted four points along with seven assists and five steals.

Lake Lure Classical Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

Lake Lure Classical Academy will take on Challenger in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Challenger knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Lake Lure Classical Academy likes a good challenge. Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy and Community Christian Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
