The Fort Dorchester Patriots will be playing at home against the Stall Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Fort Dorchester suffered their biggest defeat since December 9, 2023 on Wednesday. They were the victim of a tough 53-28 loss at the hands of Ashley Ridge. Fort Dorchester has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite their defeat, Fort Dorchester saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Cailyn Webber, who dropped a double-double on 13 rebounds and 13 blocks, was perhaps the best of all. Kai Mack was another key contributor, scoring five points along with 11 rebounds and five blocks.
Fort Dorchester struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Ashley Ridge posted 13 assists.
Meanwhile, Stall was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 55-49 to West Ashley.
Fort Dorchester's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Stall, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7.
Fort Dorchester couldn't quite finish off Stall when the teams last played back in February of 2023 and fell 56-53. Thankfully for Fort Dorchester, Jadein Haynes (who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
