Larue County put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Green County Dragons as Larue County made off with a 9-3 win. Isabelle Hayes was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played.
In other batting news, Brooklynn Skaggs was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Paisley Williams, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.
Larue County's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.
