Elkmont came out on top against Danville  on Friday thanks in part to  Corder Hobbs's efforts. Hobbs turned in his biggest game of the season,  firing off two  home runs and five  RBI while  getting on base  in five of his six plate appearances. What's more,  he posted three  hits, the most he's  had since back in March of 2024.
 Coming up,  Hobbs and Elkmont will square off against Asbury at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Asbury will enter the matchup having just beaten Crossville, so Elkmont will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
