The Immaculate Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Bunnell 78-26 at home. That looming 78-26 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Immaculate yet this season.
Immaculate found their leader in underclassman Kendra Foy, who scored 26 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Foy has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlynn Kenna, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Immaculate and bumps their season record up to 9-4. As for Bunnell, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Immaculate will play host again and welcome Masuk, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Masuk is ranked 19th, while Immaculate is ranked 27th). As for Bunnell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Notre Dame Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Notre Dame Catholic is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
