Rashad Dockery Delivers Best Effort of Season
South View was led to victory by Rashad Dockery, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Dockery rushed for 320 yards and eight touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
The win was the fourth in a row for South View, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Dockery will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Cape Fear on Friday.

Deandre Nance Goes Supernova in Seventy-First Win
Deandre Nance's big game helped extend Seventy-First's winning streak to eight on Friday. Purnell Swett had no answer to Nance as he rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 121 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. Nance's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 113 rushing yards.
Unfortunately for Purnell Swett, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Nance. Nance rushed for 73 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 65 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Rams duked it out back in October of 2023.

Seventy-First Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Donavan Frederick
Donavan Frederick was instrumental in extending Seventy-First's winning streak to eight on Friday. Frederick was dynamite, rushing for 69 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
On the season, Frederick has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 83.8 rushing yards per game.

Kymani Atiles Puts an End to Douglas Byrd's Losing Streak on Friday
Thanks in part to Kymani Atiles, Douglas Byrd said goodbye to their six-game losing streak. Atiles wasn't messing around on Friday, picking up two sacks and making 20 total tackles. The game was his seventh straight with ten or more total tackles.
