national rankings since last week after going 3-2 in the past seven days. The Panthers are currently No. 323 in the state of Virginia, with an overall record of 6-11.
Windsor's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 10 hits and two walks to lead the league in both categories. The Dukes have given up a mere 71 hits on the year, while striking out 96 opposing hitters.
Colt Copeland is the leader in that category with 33 Ks on the season.
The Cougars' Thomas finished his week with seven hits, tops in the league. On the season, he's hitting .478 and ranks first in the league with 22 hits.
Lance Sexton had four hits in five at bats in Windsor's 6-1 victory over Charles City on Saturday. He also drove in three runners.
