After a string of 14 wins, Jayhawk Linn's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paola Panthers. If the Jayhawks were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Panthers when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jayhawk Linn's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Paola, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-5.

Jayhawk Linn wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Chanute on the 4th. As for Paola, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against McPherson on the 4th.
