  Benjamin Martin made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned run off   one  hit. Martin was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-5.
 In other batting news,  Max Kruth was  excellent,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.  Noah Cunningham was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 Coventry Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Christian School of York, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
 Tuesday's   matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Coventry Christian has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .476.
