With a playoff win on the line, Skyline rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 33-20 win over the Camas Papermakers. The victory was nothing new for the Spartans as they're now sitting on four straight.
Despite the loss, Camas still got an impressive performance from Thor Brody, who rushed for 118 yards and one TD, and also picked up 44 receiving yards and one score. Another player making a difference was Ronan Loop, who picked up 100 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Skyline's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Camas, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 8-3 record.
Coming up, Skyline will face off against Puyallup on Friday. The Vikings' defense has only allowed 8.4 points per game this season, so the Spartans' offense will have their work cut out for them. Camas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
