Plainfield ended up on the wrong side of a rough 70-50 walloping at the hands of the Bulldogs on Friday. Plainfield just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Lyman Memorial's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jordan Chandler, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Botticello, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Plainfield has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Lyman Memorial, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plainfield will take on the Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Stonington has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 652 points over their last ten contests.
