Salmen scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They really took it to Lakeshore for the full four quarters, racking up a 77-44 win at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-21.
Destiny Bennett continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 30 points along with seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Treasure Mccall was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Archbishop Hannan waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Franklinton 51-17 at home. Given Archbishop Hannan's advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while Franklinton is ranked 249th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Salmen strolled past Archbishop Hannan in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 by a score of 67-48. Does Salmen have another victory up their sleeve, or will Archbishop Hannan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
