A Season-Best Effort from Trace Kopper Leads Cimarron over Southwestern Heights
Cimarron was led to victory by Trace Kopper, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Kopper rushed for 156 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, and also threw for 161 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. Cimarron is 2-1 when Kopper posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise.
Southwestern Heights's probably not too fond of Kopper given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Kopper saw the Mustangs), he rushed for 247 yards and five touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 63 yards and a touchdown on perfect 5-for-5 passing.

Cimarron was led to victory by McCoy Nash, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Nash rushed for 171 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries.

Korbin Johnson was a major factor in Holcomb's victory over Hugoton on Friday. Johnson was dynamite, rushing for 174 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry.
For the season, Johnson has averaged 43.6 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he had two rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 12.

Coulter Dohrmann Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Cimarron got the W thanks in part to Coulter Dohrmann playing the best football he has all season. Dohrmann picked up 112 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
