Softball Recap: Torrance Wins Going Away Against North

Torrance had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 15-8 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the North Saxons 9-1. The result was nothing new for the Tartars, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

As for North, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured nine losses in a row.

For North's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Corina Alvillar, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Coincidentally, Torrance and North will both be playing El Segundo the next time they take the field. The Saxons will head out to face the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tartars will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
