The Nokomis Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Hermon Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Nokomis is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Nokomis came up short against Brewer and fell 19-8.
Meanwhile, Hermon had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They secured a 22-18 W over Hampden.
Hermon's victory bumped their season record to 4-5 while Nokomis' defeat dropped theirs to 3-4.
Nokomis came up short against Hermon in their previous matchup back in September of 2021, falling 19-12. Can Nokomis avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
