The West Chargers's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They snuck past Seaman with a 55-49 win. That's another feather in the cap for West, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
West found their leader in underclassman Keimani Paul, who scored 18 points along with five assists and two steals. Another player making a difference was Johnny Young, who scored eight points along with two steals.
West is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Seaman, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-9.
West will head out on the road to face off against De Soto at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully West focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday. As for Seaman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Leavenworth at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Seaman is facing Leavenworth at the right time seeing as Leavenworth is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
