Allen East needed a changed in momentum after dropping five straight matches and they got it from Aniya Prowant. The Mustangs came out on top against the Spencerville Bearcats by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday thanks in part to Prowant, who had 37 digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted 16 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Allen East had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-20, 25-15, 25-20.

Allen East's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-13. As for Spencerville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.
