In what's become a running theme this season, the Unioto Shermans gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Saturday. They took their  match on the road  with ease, bagging a  57-17 victory over Piketon. Given Unioto's advantage  in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings  (they are ranked 52nd, while Piketon is ranked 430th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Leading Unioto to victory were  Milee Smith and  Mya Hamilton.  Smith  scored 20 points along with four  steals, while  Hamilton  scored 24 points along with five  assists and five  rebounds. Hamilton is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last 15 games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Amaris Betts, who  scored six points along with six  assists and six  steals.
 The  win  makes it two in a row for Unioto and  bumps their season record up to 15-2. As for Piketon, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
 Unioto will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Westfall at 7:15  p.m. Westfall is hoping to put an end to  a five-game streak of away losses. As for Piketon, they will head out on the road to  take on  Huntington at 7:15  p.m.  on Friday.
