The Highline Pirates were the 57-45 winner over the Lindbergh Eagles when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Highline took a 63-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lindbergh on Monday. Highline can't seem to catch a break and have yet to win any of their three games.
Marquawn Mccraney and Corey Crosby certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Mccraney dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Crosby scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds. Mccraney scored a full 32.7% of Highline's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Marcus Moss was another key contributor, scoring 3 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
The last time Highline won on the road was back on Saturday. Having now lost three straight away matches, they've bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Lindbergh, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highline will take on Sammamish at 7:15 p.m. on December 12th. As for Lindbergh, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Kent-Meridian at 7:15 p.m.
