The Worth County Tigers will face off against the Maysville Wolverines at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Worth County is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
 Things were looking good for Worth County after they put the first points on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell  11-6 to Northeast Nodaway. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Meanwhile, Maysville was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  11-1 to Albany, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
 Worth County's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Maysville, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.
 Worth County took their  win against Maysville  in their previous meeting  back in October of 2023 by a conclusive  10-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Worth County since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
