Kenton Ridge has gone a perfect 10-0 against Urbana recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Cougars will venture away from home to challenge the Hillclimbers at 5:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kenton Ridge has six straight wins, Urbana has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Kenton Ridge and Indian Lake meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Cougars put the hurt on the Lakers with a sharp 13-0 victory. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 13 runs or more this season.

Urbana's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Kenton Ridge has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 13.3 hits per game. It's a different story for Urbana, though, as they've been averaging 9.3 hits. Given Kenton Ridge's sizable advantage in that area, the Hillclimbers will need to find a way to close that gap.
Kenton Ridge took their win against Urbana in their previous meeting on Monday by a conclusive 24-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
