Even though the North Greene Huskies scored an imposing 65 points on Tuesday, the Sullivan East Patriots still came out on top. Sullivan East walked away with a 73-65 win over North Greene. The win made it back-to-back wins for Sullivan East.
It was another big night for Corbin Laisure , who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds. He also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Cross, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
Sullivan East's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for North Greene, they bumped their record down to 7-11 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Sullivan East will look to defend their home court on Friday against Tennessee at 8:00 p.m. Tennessee and Sullivan East are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for North Greene, they will head out on the road to face off against Cloudland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Cloudland is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
