The Niceville Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Crestview Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Niceville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.
Niceville is headed into the match having just posted their closest victory since March 14, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over Gulf Breeze.
Hunter Tarchalski made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Tarchalski was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other pitching news, Niceville got a great performance from Reilly Six as he struck out eight batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts Six has posted since back in March of 2024.
Back at the plate, Ryder Hodgkinson was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple. That triple marked the first that he's hit this season. Another player making a difference was Deacon Avery, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.
Meanwhile, Crestview earned a 6-1 victory over Choctawhatchee on Monday.
Landon Peters spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up nine Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cooper Cantrell, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Crestview picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Niceville, their record now sits at 5-1.
Crestview's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Niceville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having got 0 of their hits per game. It's a different story for Crestview, though, as they've only got 0 of their hits this season. Will they be able to contain Niceville's hitters?
Niceville couldn't quite finish off Crestview in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 and fell 4-2. Can Niceville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
