The Patapsco Patriots scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 53-35 victory over Overlea. That looming 53-35 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Patapsco yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Patapsco to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ania Evans, who scored 18 points along with three steals. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for her. Trinity Burk was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Patapsco and bumps their season record up to 3-7. As for Overlea, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Patapsco will be playing in front of their home fans against Carver A&T at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Overlea, they will head out on the road to face off against Western Tech & Environmental Science at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
