Melbourne Central Catholic was led to victory by Henry Lane and Hayden Deane. Lane scored 12 points along with 5 steals, while Deane scored 18 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Deane has scored at least 25% of Melbourne Central Catholic's points.
Melbourne Central Catholic pushed their record up to 4-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game.
