Trinity Catholic came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Land O' Lakes Gators by a score of 7-3.

Caylee Barbe made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Barbe wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Hailey Wilson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Trinity Catholic's record is now 12-6. As for Land O' Lakes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Trinity Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-1 victory against Tampa Catholic on the 1st. As for Land O' Lakes, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-0 win against Charlotte on the 29th.
