Coronado's matchup on Wednesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Everything went their way against the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Considering Coronado have won nine games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Cari Powell and Ava Friesema scored all three of Coronado's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 26 goals.

Coronado's win bumped their record up to 10-1-3. As for Mesa Ridge, they dropped their record down to 6-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coronado didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Harrison on the 2nd. As for Mesa Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Widefield on the 2nd.
