Mulberry Grove's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Sugg, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Carter Scoggins, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.
Mulberry Grove dropped their record down to 4-12 with that defeat, which was their 16th straight on the road. As for Christ Our Rock Lutheran, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.
