On Wednesday, Treasure Coast took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 65-35 victory over Deerfield Beach. Given Treasure Coast's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 130th, while Deerfield Beach is ranked 445th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Tyson Wilson was on fire: he dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Warren Sharry, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Treasure Coast and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Deerfield Beach, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
Treasure Coast's road trip will continue as they head out to face Gainesville at 12:00 p.m. on December 28th. Deerfield Beach won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lake Highland Prep at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th.
